Stephen Bolen, Owner, Sr. Web Content Strategist – @sbolen
Stephen Bolen is a St. Louis-based web and graphic designer with 9 years of professional experience. Mr. Bolen specializes in creating affordable, high quality web and graphic design solutions for a wide variety of clients, ranging from political to non-profit, e-commerce to the arts. Currently, Mr. Bolen is employed at Sigma-Aldrich (life science/high technology industry), where he is on a team managing web pages that generate $2.1 million per day in revenue. Previously, Mr. Bolen has worked with Hunter Engineering Company (automotive industry) and The Creative Group (creative/advertising agency), and has done consulting work with Pricegrabber (comparison shopping portal) and BizRate (eCommerce). He is currently blogging about Social Media and speaking at Social Fresh events.

Mr. Bolen is a member of the Gateway Interactive Marketing Association, eMarketing Association and the Corporate Executive Board’s Marketing Leadership Council. He holds undergraduate degrees from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in Music Performance and Music History/Literature and an  undergraduate degree from Fontbonne University in Management. He is currently pursuing a Masters in Management and Leadership and a MBA with an emphasis in Web Technologies from Webster University.

Mr. Bolen resides in Southwest St. Louis with his wife and daughter.

Nicholas Bond, Creative Director – @nicholasbond79
I was born in 1979. After that, things got interesting for me. I’m a classically trained pianist, cellist and a blues-leaning guitarist who sometimes wishes he could be the drummer. As a student in the Miami AdSchool copywriting program, I’ve been a finalist at the OneShow and won at D&AD last year. I currently intern at DDB in Budapest and freelance in the US. Yes, there’s an apparent disparity between my training and my occupation. At least, until you become aware of my secret plans to subvert the power of advertising messages to fiddle with the knobs in people’s brains, make adjustments to the harmony, tweaking the strings that’ve come out of tune in our cultural orchestra to arrive at a better blend.

Andrew Bricker, Senior PHP Developer, UI Specialist – @brickghost
I love the web. I am obsessed with the internet in the way that it applies to and even molds our daily lives via our interaction with web sites, social media, instant messaging, on-line marketing and so much more.

For over 10 years I’ve been evolving right along side the world wide web. From my beginnings as a Fine Art Student at Fontbonne University to my present state of uber-geek and code ninja, I’ve seen a lot happen in web technology and design. I strive to stay at the forefront of these trends and love nothing more than lifting the hood and getting my hands dirty when programming. For me, a successful web site has the both the beautiful lines of a Lamborghini Murcielago and the beast of an engine that makes it shred rubber. Without either element, it’s a failure in comparison to the best. I guess you can consider me the engineer, mechanic and pit crew for highly functional web applications.

I work for a fantastic web firm in Kirkwood, MO that specializes in building custom portals, web apps and Joomla! components. We have a great crew of guys with diverse skill-sets and backgrounds and I look forward to work every day.

My career to date has included five years of running my own full-service web shop, two-plus years on contract with Boeing building PHP applications and interactive Flash pieces and six months at Sigma-Aldrich in a design and developer role.
